Tackling a Silent Crisis in the Water, Muizuri Launches Safety-Led Children’s Swimwear To Improve Visibility
[DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – 26th January 2026] — Muizuri Swimwear makes its debut, reinventing children’s swimwear for a safer, more sustainable future. Designed by Mother and Swim England-certified coach, Krupa Patel, for kids aged 4–13, Muizuri fills a crucial gap: swimwear that keeps children visible and protected in and around water—without compromising style or the planet.
The launch comes at a time when water safety remains an important global conversation. The World Health Organization continues to warn that drowning remains a “silent killer,” claiming more than 300,000 lives worldwide each year. Children are among the hardest hit, accounting for nearly 43% of drowning deaths. In line with the World Health Organization’s call for urgent and sustained action to prevent drowning, Muizuri places safety at the centre of every children’s swimwear conversation. As Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization, has warned, without decisive intervention current trends suggest that by 2050 more than 7.2 million people—most of them children—could lose their lives to drowning.
Despite this, visibility-led design, protective features, and sustainability remain largely overlooked in children’s swimwear — a gap Muizuri was created to close.
The brand’s signature product, the ‘Signal’ Reversible Lifesaver Arm UV Swim Tee, was inspired directly by the founder’s experience coaching young swimmers. “As with any sport, children can tire quickly and become distressed in the water,” explains the founder. “Even strong swimmers can suddenly find themselves needing help — and that’s when quick, visible action matters, such as raising an arm to grab attention and signal for assistance.”
This real-world insight led to the creation of the Signal swim tee, which features a bright, contrasting arm designed to be instantly visible when raised, even from a distance. The top is fully reversible, with no front or back, allowing it to be worn on either arm depending on the child’s dominant side — ensuring the most natural and effective signalling motion when it matters most.
Designed using safety-first principles, the collection prioritizes high-visibility color palettes for greater visibility, UPF 50+ sun protection for delicate skin, and all-day comfort, supporting confident movement while helping parents and caregivers. Guided by a circular-led fashion approach, Muizuri gives existing materials a second life by transforming landfill-bound polyester into durable, high-performance swimwear designed to last season after season.
Challenging traditional children’s swimwear offerings, Muizuri also introduces two piece and three-piece swim sets. The three-piece sets is an uncommon option in the children’s market and is offered at highly competitive price points.
Muizuri further distinguishes itself through its exclusive, in-house designed prints. Every pattern is created internally by the brand, ensuring each collection is one of a kind and not replicated elsewhere in the market — combining playful, vibrant aesthetics with practical, functional design that appeals to both children and parents.
Muizuri Swimwear launched on the 26th of January 2026 and is available online at www.muizuriswimwear.com.
