New U.S. Consul General in Jeddah and high-achieving STEM students met with Esteban Ocon, Ollie Bearman and Aerodynamics Team Leader, Paul Sutton, in the MoneyGram Haas F1 Garage

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (April 18th) – MoneyGram Haas F1 Team – the only American team on the Formula 1 grid – in close cooperation with the Saudi Motorsport Company (SMC) – Promoter of the FORMULA 1 STC SAUDI ARABIAN GRAND PRIX 2025 – yesterday welcomed the new U.S. Consul General in Jeddah, Rafik Mansour, and a group of high-performing Saudi ‘STEM RACING’ students to the F1 paddock for an evening of activities to provide insight and access to the pinnacle of motorsport.

On the eve of Formula 1’s return to Saudi Arabia for the fifth successive time, the new Consul General, and 5 accomplished STEM students aged between 17-19 were given an exclusive tour of the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team garage. The visit also featured a meet and greet with both MoneyGram Haas F1 Team drivers, Esteban Ocon and Ollie Bearman, as well as a fascinating Q&A session with the American outfit’s Aerodynamics Team Leader, Paul Sutton. Following these meetings, all parties were offered a guided tour of the exclusive Formula 1 Paddock and Pitlane to round out a truly special engagement.

The excitement of race weekend extends far beyond the track. Fans can look forward to an incredible lineup of live music concerts featuring some of the world’s biggest acts, including Jennifer Lopez, Usher, and Major Lazer Soundsystem.
