Dubai, UAE, June 24, 2025: The Sunlife hotel group is pleased to announce the appointment of Rudy Periatamby as the General Manager of Long Beach, a 5-star hotel on the east coast of Mauritius.

Rudy holds a Higher National Diploma (BTEC) in Hotel Management from the École Hôtelière of Mauritius and is a graduate of Marriott’s Executive GM Track program for the AFIO and Sub-Saharan Africa regions.

At 47 years old, Rudy began his career in 1999 and has steadily risen through various operational and leadership roles within major hotel brands both in Mauritius and internationally, including InterContinental, Accor, and Marriott. In 2018, he served as Deputy General Manager for both Le Méridien and The Westin Turtle Bay.

Most recently, he was the General Manager of Le Méridien Île Maurice, where he oversaw a major renovation project and helped reposition the hotel as a premium 5-star destination. He also led the commercial, marketing, and operational profitability strategies.
