The 8th Sharjah Voluntary Work Exhibition
The exhibition aims to highlight distinguished volunteer initiatives and provide an interactive platform that brings together various parties concerned with volunteer work, from government and private institutions to civil associations and volunteer teams, allowing visitors, especially students, and their parents, to learn about the available programs and initiatives and join opportunities that suit their skills and interests.

The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work has announced the launch of the first edition of Sharjah Voluntary Work Exhibition in February 3, 2018, targeting university students and those interested in voluntary activities.
The exhibition, launched at the University of Sharjah, UoS, aims to disseminate the culture of voluntary work among students and facilitate their participation in it by displaying their initiatives by the various government and community institutions during the period 6th to 8th February at the Female Students Centre at the UoS.
Fatima Mousa Al Baloushi, Executive Director of the Award, said, “The Sharjah Voluntary Work Exhibition is an annual awareness event that was launched in order to introduce voluntary opportunities, works and programmes in the UAE. Governmental and non-governmental organisations, as well as voluntary teams in the country, take part in the exhibition.”
She added that the exhibition is the first of its kind at the level of the UAE and the Arab world. She expressed her appreciation to the various media outlets newspapers, magazines, television and radio channels for promoting the various activities of the award. She also invited them once again to participate in the launch of the award’s first exhibition at the University of Sharjah.
The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work launched the “Eastern Region Volunteer Work Exhibition” at Khorfakkan University on November 18 and 19. The exhibition aims to promote volunteer work among youth and community members, highlighting the efforts of individuals and institutions. It will provide an interactive platform for visitors to learn about available programs and opportunities, allowing them to join opportunities that suit their skills and interests. The exhibition is organized for the first time in the Eastern Region.
