Dubai Culture is hosting author Dr Fatma Mohammed (Umm Zayed) for a session titled ‘A Journey of Hope: Writing about People of Determination’ as part of its Library Talks series, under the School of Life initiative within Dubai’s Quality of Life Strategy. Taking place on 30 May at Al Safa Art & Design Library, the event will see the writer reflect on her personal journey with her son Zayed, who has become her source of strength, acceptance, and pride. She will also discuss her literary path and the inspiration she draws from the lives of people of determination, whose stories have offered hope to many families. The talk will be moderated by media personality Doja Ben Faraj and conclude with a book signing for Dr Fatma’s works, ‘In My Right Eye an Orchid’ and ‘Chromosome.’
